Because I had to dump my webspace so it could be used for something better I have to upload this here for a couple upcoming exchanges:
TIMBER JONES LOGAN
Name: Timber Jones Logan
Race: AO-Positive Human. Born on Poseidon in the Port of Blue Neptune.
Age: 17
Height: 5'8"
Weight/Build: Skinny and lightweight
Eyes: His eyes are different colors: the left is a vivid deep blue-green with a ring of gold around the pupil, a large stripe of gold from the pupil to the bottom left corner, and various specks of gold spattered throughout. His right eye is lacking an iris (think aniridia) which makes it appear as though he has one large pupil that is overly sensitive to light. When going out in sunlight or bright lighting he wears a contact with a blue-green iris painted on to protect it.
Hair: Thick, shaggy dark nearly black hair that curls and waves around his face. It curls down to his shoulders and to the top of his shoulder-blades in the back.
Other features: Timber has a soft, boyish face with fair skin that burns extremely easily. His large, sad eyes are framed by thick angular eyebrows with unruly hairs. His nose is small, yet masculine like his father's (Dascher) and he has doll-like pouting lips and a round chin. He looks a lot like what his father (Paul) looked like as a teen yet with softer, more boyish qualities. Standing at only 5'8" Timber is about average height though a few inches small compared to the average of tall, strapping Navy boys born on Poseidon, and is definitely dwarfed in the shadow of his fathers who both break six feet. Being incredibly thin and gawky he looks like a mere toy compared to his six-foot-five father (Paul) and many are surprised to find they are related though the two look very much alike. Timber is actually prescribed a decent strength of reading glasses for his far-sightedness...he doesn't always wear them. They are rectangular lenses housed in clear plastic frames with black arms. Another quirk he has is a result of his AO mutations: "black blood." His blood is very dark and purplish, appearing black and giving areas that on normal humans appear pinkish a more bluish or purplish undertone such as his nose, lips, ears, and extremities.
Alpha Omega augments: Timber shares a similar mutation to his father (Dascher), though he can't control the appearance of his to the extent that his father can. His mutation shows in the vestigial discolored, purplish black twisting "scaling" that adorns portions of his body such as from clawed hands up to his upper arms, back, feet to thighs, back of neck, spine, and portions of his face. Usually the scaling is subtler and blends in with his body rather well (though with strong patches of color), under extreme emotions it can instantly begin to spread and grow into a defensive "armor". This is usually only the case when he is getting angry, sad, feeling other strong emotions, or getting ready to or engaging in a sexually stimulating activity. Being a teenager, he does not share the pride of his unique genetics as his fathers do and tries to hide it as much as possible.
Occupation/Activities: Timber is a student at the Blue Neptune Civilian Academy, a large sprawling school that contains buildings for preschoolers, grades 1-5, 7-9, and 10-13 - Timber is in the 11th grade. Timber's Academy Major is Engineering & Mechanics, which he partially only chose because his father (Paul) is the co-chair of that department and teaches many of the classes. Timber delights in his elective zoology and natural science classes, and alongside Julien is a member of the swim team the "Tunafish". He is not a member of any Academy Houses but does wear the armband for the Natural Sciences Club, a group of students who are strongly interested in the natural world. Timber also sings, though he is not part of any band...he likes the same "rock" style music his father (Dascher) does.
Clothing:
Casual: Timber usually dresses in dark colored shirts, his favorites being a t-shirt striped black and dark grey with worn text screened on that reads "MACH 10 TUNAFISH", and the other being a long sleeved tee striped dark grey and dark violet. He likes to wear denim jeans one size too big, held in place by a black leather belt and underneath wearing black tennis shoes. Over top of all of this he wears a very oversized coat that is a camel brown with many pockets, has a zipper AND buttons, and a thick, heavy faux fur collar. In public places he wears a pair of soft black leather gloves, usually keeping his hands shoved deep into his coat pockets attempting to hide as much of the physical manifestation of his mutation as possible. He wears little jewelry, such as an oversize ballchain necklace and a chain with various tags he earned from extracurricular activities such as the Natural Sciences Club.
School Uniform: Timber wears the standard male Juniors Academy uniform, a dark, almost black navy blue blazer and pants, crisp white shirt buttoned completely up with a black tie and polished black dress shoes. Like all school blazers, Timber's has shoulder-straps but he is lacking any Special Commendation Shoulderboards, on his right shoulder-strap he has a steel blue shoulderloop with a silver star signifying he's placed in at least one school swim competition. His right sleeve bears three gold stripes at the wrist signifying academic excellence in every grade cluster (1-5, 7-9, 10-13 are considered three seperate grade clusters) he's been in. There is also an armband stitched on to his right upper sleeve with the colors of the Natural Sciences Club (various shades of violet evocative of a night sky with blaze gold), and their logo, a shooting star with the outer edge of a solar flare. His tie has a sterling silver tie-pin of a tuna fish.
Personality: Quiet, shy, introverted. Timber is very insecure and withdrawn. As a child he only really socialized with people within his family and extended family: His parents family, his neighbors, and his fathers' old Navy buddies. On a daily basis he only hung out with one person: his best friend Julien. As a result Timber is a little socially retarded and has an inability to start conversations easily with others, and gets rather flustered when someone talks to him - even if it is just to ask directions. Timber isn't much into the excessive hustle and bustle of big city life, and even gets a little tired of the "know everyone" atmosphere of the suburbs and the crowds of the massive civilian's academy he attends. He loves animals and nature, and loves to hang out at the quiet beach and study the natural life there and swim with fish, and enjoys feeding and interacting with the playful dwarfsharks. Not far from his suburbia is also a heavily wooded area that he enjoys exploring. It's not strange for him to disappear for most of the day on his holidays just to go for a walk in the woods. Timber is also very good with children, even if he is thrown off by their outgoing personalities and their ignorance of personal space.
Relations with Others:
Dascher & Paul: (45 and 43 respectively) Dascher and Paul are both Timber's biological parents - he was artificially created with their genetic information and a donated base embryo and carried to term in an artificial womb at the hospital. In personality he takes more after Paul, but shares some of Dascher's fiery spunk as well. The three of them are all very close and he loves his fathers dearly. They do a lot of hobbies together like building things, sailing, hanging out on the beach.
Angel, Roux, and Emma: (43, 41, and 17) Angel and Roux are Timber's next door neighbors and Julien's sister and sister-in-law. Emma is Julien's cousin and Angel & Roux's daughter. Angel and Roux are very fond of Timber and treat him like their own nephew - they were actually the ones who suggested the use of artificial birth to Dascher and Paul eighteen years ago that caused the two to decide to have a child. Angel and Roux pamper Timber every once and awhile as they would pamper a blood relative, and always invite him over for homemade sweets that Angel bakes and extensive gourmet dinners that Roux creates (both are professional chefs.) Timber is so well cared about at their home that he can just walk in and sit down in their home like he is their own child, as Julien can do at Timber's home. Emma is Julien's cousin who is Timber's age and rather pesty to him. The two don't particularly get along as Emma is a rambunctious teenaged girl and he is an introverted insecure teenaged boy.
Julien: (19) Julien has been Timber's best friend since they were children. Only two years apart in age, the two grew up almost like brothers: always together. As they grew up became teenagers the two of them just "happened." They are both incredibly dedicated partners and very seriously in love. They are also best friends and that makes them even closer as a couple. They spend pretty much all their free time together, and yet do not ever tire of each other. They are completely opposite in personality, but work so perfectly together. Julien is very caring of Timber, almost in a maternal way and is someone Timber can always go to for help. Both are virgins and are saving themselves for when Timber is truly ready for a sexual relationship, but that isn't to say they don't have a healthy physical relationship of kissing and making out. Julien is chided for having no shame, that may very well be true by the way he playfully sends provocative nude photos of himself to Timber with humourous labels such as "Don't solo without me!" Despite this immature humour they both treat each other with the utmost respect and would die for one another in a heartbeat.
Stranz Jansa & Jasper Erikssen: (17 and 68) Timber's only other two close friends, Jansa is a friend of his from school and Jasper was a companion he became acquainted with while he was abducted by the scientist obsessed with those affected by the AlphaOmega strain. Jansa is a nerd to put it lightly, though a little awkward he is still nice and tries to get along with other people even if they don't particularly like him for his unpopularity. Timber was introduced to Jansa through Julien in middle-school and they've been very good friends since. Jansa is a mathematics major and doesn't participate much in sports or extracurricular, but he still goes out of his way to attend all of Timber and Julien's swim meets. Timber, Jansa, and Julien love to get together to play tactical board games such as chess, go, and reversi.
Timber and Jasper* have a wide gap in their ages, but still call each other friend. Jasper suffers horridly from the AO-hybrid experiments he was put through, and has pretty much closed himself off from society. He shares many of the insecurities about his mutations that Timber does and thus this commonality makes them very close and supportive of each other. Jasper lives in a massive mansion left to him by his family, tended by many maids, butlers, housekeepers, etc and lives in solitude. Timber is the only person he sees anymore as Timber likes to ride through the woods to the secluded mansion to spend time with him. They will talk about the outside world, books they've read, philosophy, science, and play tactical games of the like he plays with Jansa and Julien. Timber has recently started trying to talk Jasper to allow him to bring his two friends, though the older man is a little resistant to any form of change.
*Jasper is AO-Positive, but also was forced to undergo AO-hybrid experimentation by his scientific colleagues due to the lack of available test subjects. He was injected with a mixture of purified AO strain and other DNA such as from animals (birds specifically) causing a horrible mutation to occur. As a result Jasper is physically very weak with a bad immune system, and suffers from brittle bone disorder (Osteogenesis imperfecta). He has what appear to be rather dwarfed speckled angel wings protruding from his back, but they are completely useless and vestigial and often are the cause of much extreme arthritic pain to the point he has considered having them surgically removed. He is known to sprout downy feathers over patches of his body but goes to great lengths to have them removed. After the mutations Jasper saw the horrible lengths of experimentation his colleagues were willing to go to, and they locked him up in their facility to keep him from alerting the government. When Timber was abducted for further study to this facility, he was kept adjacent to the room of Jasper and they conversed a lot and became fast friends.
